About Me 

Hi, I'm Sadie, and welcome to my personal learning portfolio! Here, I will share my interests, experiences, and reflections. I am currently an Art History major at the University of Cincinnati, with a minor in business administration. I am originally from Carmel, Indiana and I am growing to love Cincinnati!

In my free time, I tend to be reading, photography, playing video games, facetiming my boyfriend (long distance is not fun) and playing with my dog and my two cats. I am passionate about art, both as an artist and as an art historian! I am largely interested in topics of social justice, political confrontations, and things that generally can make people uncomfortable to address (but that need to be talked about!) Through my time at UC I have had numerous incredibly valuable experiences that have shaped me as an art historian, a student, and a growing professional.

On campus, I am involved as an Honors Ambassador, a DAAP Ambassador, and have been a McNair Scholar and Welcome Event Mentor. I love my part-time job at Green Farm Juicery, and I have had a few incredible internships to launch my future career. My first being a Development Intern at the Contemporary Arts Center was the perfect step into my field and taught me the foundations of professionalism in the arts industry. I was on co-op with the Steven Myron Holl Foundation in Rhinebeck, New York as a Programs and Development Intern last summer, and I am currently a Collections Intern with DAAP Galleries and UC Art Collections for this summer. Over the spring, and throughout the summer as well, I am a Social Media Intern with a small studio, Art Equals.
